About Helple
Helple is a small helper for the daily NYT Wordle puzzle. As you play in the official game, mirror each guess here and mark the letters with the colors Wordle gave you. Helple narrows the list of possible solutions in real time so you can pick a smart next guess.

Usage
- Type a guess on the physical keyboard or tap the on-screen keyboard to fill the active row.
- Delete removes the last letter; Enter confirms the row once it contains a valid 5-letter word from the list.
- Once a row is confirmed, a checkmark appears on the right.
- Right-click a letter (long-press on touch) to open the context menu and mark it Wrong (grey), OK but wrong position (yellow), or OK (green) to match what Wordle showed you.
- When all five letters in a row have been colored, the checkmark turns bright green and the next row becomes active.
- The Possible solutions list at the bottom updates live, showing only words still consistent with the colors you've assigned (and with whatever letters you've started typing in the current row).
The Sort options on the right of the Possible solutions header change the order of that list:
- A-Z — plain alphabetical order.
- Letters Weight — each letter is weighted by how often it appears across the whole word list, and each word is sorted by the sum of its letter weights (highest first). Useful for picking guesses that test common letters.
- Word Weight — each word is weighted by how common it is in real English text (log of its frequency in a large corpus). Higher-weighted, more familiar words come first.
